This is a small stub module I made to link my versions of the first two Bramblewood Tales modules to whichever module you want to run next (in my case a heavily modified "Ruins of Netheril"). I basically took BT3 and deleted most of it. The module contains no quests or combat as such, it's just an excuse to roleplay goodbyes to the Bramblewood NPCs and do a bit of shopping before moving on.
Notes on how to play it, vary at will...
I built in my reception area in case you want to use it for new server vault characters
etc, but the module as built bypasses it and starts at the keep. You need to
shift the module start point into "Adventure Reception" if you want to
use it. I have upgraded the store, it now sells items aimed at level 4 to 6
characters. It buys and sells at 100% on the assumption that you use it for new
characters that you've levelled up and gave gold. You could change the prices in
the toolset to something more typical (say 35 and 135%).
Chet at the inn now has customers and is happy, friendly, helpful, and prone to
giving free drinks. Should be good for shock value... There's a bunch of reinforcements drinking and congratulating
Meric on getting them safely to the keep (scripted).
Thard and Thea (outdoor merchants) have done a deal. She sells magic weapons and he sells
everything else. They are both merchants, click and go through the scripted
dialogue to trade with them. Thanks to their deal, they're now very expensive. Note the bleedstopper scrolls
in Thard's inventory, meant for use in my next module (which has bleeding).
Kel says thanks for all they've done, and points them at Talion who has news.
Talion has had a magical communication from an old friend who desperately needs help from adventurers.
Insert link to your next adventure here. In my case, an evil power group has launched a foul plot in the Dalelands forest. Somebody must find out
what is going on and stop it. That's weeks away on foot, but he's arranged with Indiana to teleport them if they're willing. His contact
is called Dove and she's staying at an inn called the Singing Swan.
Vera is walking up and down in the Temple. She's lost her broom. It's just inside the door, but her eyesight isn't what it used to be.
Indiana will "teleport" them on Talion's request, i.e. you tell
them to logout while you load the next module and come back in two minutes.
